No Carb Cooking and Slushies 2018.07.30
And tonight was another cooking club success!!
Tonight our friend Alex from Bulgaria brought a friend of hers, Sandra, visiting from Germany.
Last week Alex mentioned she would bring her but that Sandra has a gluten intolerance, so whatever we made, it couldn't have gluten in it.

So I started thinking what we could make. I remembered a few days back I saw a recipe on facebook for zucchini boat pizza. You just carve out the zucchini into boatshapes and put on sauce, cheese, and toppings and bake them. Very simple. Put I figured just thatr wouldn't be enough. So we also made a chicken and vegetable stir fry with homemade teriyaki sauce, a fresh salad with maguro, tomatos, and tofu. And since it's been so hot lately, I thought it would be a good idea to make fruit slushies!

As usual everything was so delicious and full of love and fun. The taste still lingers even now, so much so that I wish there were leftovers so I could eat more.
Either way it was nice to make a new friend and eat a full meal that was actually super healthy!
I've been needing more vegetables anyway haha

I'm already looking forward to the next cooking club. We discussed making curry!!
