Gran Tachikawa – update for October – Mizutani

Hello again. The other day I posted a translation of manager Mizutani's post about decorating Gran Tachikawa. (You can see my original post about it here)

Today, I wanted to also include Mr. Mizutani's update for October. So, without further ado, here we go:

"Hello again! This is Mizutani, house manager for Gran Tachikawa.

Summer really is over now... but autumn is in full swing.

How do you like to spend your fall season?

Like I said before, most people like to read, or play fall sports, or have seasonal food...

But of course, one of the most popular things about this season is Halloween.

Luckily, I've already included a jack-o'-lantern and cute ghost on the signboard in front of the lounge.

When you enter, the place is already in the Halloween mood.

I decorated the dining room, theater room, and even the library.

Trick or Treat

I didn't go COMPLETELY all out like a creepy haunted house or anything, but I thought I'd add a festive touch.

I hope you will come see the Gran Tachikawa lounge if you want to visit the room before making a decision to move in. :)

I wonder what I'll do for winter??"

Hey, it's me again.

I like what he's done! To be perfectly honest, I'm not the biggest fan of Halloween. I don't think I've dressed up in costume since 5th grade. That said, I do love autumn, and I'm a sucker for a cute ghost or several.

I can't wait to see what he'll do for the winter season too! :)

I've lived in Tokyo for 10 years, and have studied Japanese for even longer. I enjoy Japanese language, ancient history, current events, some games, guitars, and other stuff. I'm always interested in learning new things!
