How to live better 2020.12.08
I had a good conversation with my colleague who also lives in our share house. He is from Australia and I went there in 2019, so I felt nostalgic. And he gave me pretty good advice I would say. It was decent talk I would say. Let's call your bank and super fund and ask them whether your cash is invested in good stuff. Keep asking questions until you’re satisfied. If you’re still not satisfied, move your money to an ethical ones. Warning: This can involve some paperwork. And some effort. But you only need to do it once – and your great great grandchildren will want to high five you for it. Volunteering isn’t just great for the people you help out, it makes you feel awesome! Some of the best fun I ever had was spending my morning with people in the share house. Wherever you are and whatever you’re good at, there are ways to volunteer in your local community.
