To enjoy your new life and manage your budget in the same time is essential while living in one of the most expensive city in the world.
Foreigners are often surprised by how complicated and expensive it is to rent an apartment in Tokyo: key money, large deposit, guarantor... But not with Oakhouse!
Easy to book and move in, everyone is welcome, and no key money, no deposit, and no guarantor required! We provide furnished rooms with shared kitchens and bathrooms, including a free internet service.
Let Oakhouse help you to make you comfortable in starting your new life!
There are more male residents than women.
It may sound odd for guest house, but there are more Japanese residents than that of foreigners.
When we first started, 80% of residents were from foreign, used to be called Gaijin-House, but now it’s replaced by Japanese.
sCross cultural communication between residents is fairly normal in the Oak House as they are from all over the world.
Ages between 26 and 35 years old are dominant (50%), and the ratio jumps to 70% if we add 25 years old.
There are teenagers and 40’s, of course.
We all exchange our opinions regardless of our age; you don’t have to be a certain age to mingle with different generation in the Oak House.
