The Otaku-House, Nakano-Sakue, Tokyo
There are "geeks" or "obsessive" people in Canada and America,
There are "enthusiasts" or "connasuers" in Europe.
In Japan, in Tokyo - we call them the "Otaku".

Basically If you see someone with their face burried in a Manga,
24 hours a day, loves tp play fantasy video games and watches
"Evengalion" all the time - chances are they might be an "Otaku".
Some people in Tokyo say "Otaku" are not cool,
some people in Tokyo might say "Otaku" are strange,
other people might even claim "Otaku" are dangerous.
But I disagree,
I know - because I AM AN OTAKU!
I love, love, love love looooooooovvvveeee Martial arts.
People around me know it, I never claimed to be any good,
but I do practice and I do obsess over it and I have a million "Pride or UFC" Videos in my house.
That makes me a "martial arts otaku".
So,
where can you find "Otaku" in Tokyo?
Well - almost anywhere, although most would say that Akihabara is the "Otaku" capital
of Tokyo, Japan - if not the world. There are thousands upon thousands of comic book,
manga shops, there are computer and electronics stores that sell parts to "make your owners".
There are "Maid Cafes" and fantasy like costume play bars - etc etc.
But one of my favourite "otaku" or "unique" places in Tokyo,
must be Nakano. I love Nakano becuase its like Akihabara's cooler
younger or older sister. She doesn't get as much attention, but there is a
"Madarake" or Manga Store/Museum/Emporium right infront of Nakano Station.
Its inside the "Nakano Broadway" shopping centre.
How to get Nakano?
Take the Chuo Line from JR Shinjuku Station one express stop west.
Thats it. Walk straight out the north exit and you'll be there!
One of the more unique things I've sound in Nakano,
well...just outside of Nakano near Nakano Sakaue Station is a strange
"Bicycle House" lined and built with hundreds of old bikes.
Take a look at my picture!
See you guys,
Matt
