1 year and 3 months of Japanese School
2020.06.29

The 8th of April, 2019, I startet a new adventure.

Without any knowledge about japanese (not even hiragana and katakana) I began a japanese language school in Tokyo.

My class's level was Beginner1, B1 for friends. How was it? Difficult. I felt like a little dumb, studying something totally new after years of chemistry and in a city I never been before! Tokyo was my dream, I dream come true last april.

Living in a country without knowing the language it's not easy but I saw my prigress during the months. I started with nothing and I ended up taking doctor's appointment and changing house, travelling, asking information just in japanese.

In one year I become an intermidiate in Japanese, almost advance. The level of N3 in the JLPT.

Am I surprised? Of course!

Living in Tokyo it's not easy, something you need is friend. Making friends in Tokyo it's not easy but the school can help really well.

During this year I learned a lot about many countries around the world. I don't know if it's just Italy, but it's really difficult in my country known someone else from some other country.

After 1 year and a half hereI can understand many culture and I learn for myself different habits. I could learn better english, that supposed to be my second language but hei, it's not so easy, and first of all I studied japanese! I think it's really a cool language, with history and a past to discover. Japan inself is a magic country and the only way to figure out everything it's to start from the language. If you don't understand the people because you actually don't know their language, and now I can say that I know it too!

I'm really glad about everything I went through here. Working, studying and living in Tokyo was a dream come true and now it's almost at the end. I was hoping to study here a bit more but....well this 2020 is full surprise for us! Unfortunate some of them are difficult...but this is another story :)

About the school, well wasn't easy but I had a lot of fun with my friends. Some of them already stopped the school months ago, some of them still here and some of them actually changed the visa in a working visa! I hope I could get this too but this will probably wait a couple of years.

At the moment I just made a wish for Tanabata and I hope will work out!
