Through BYYL (Best Year of Your Life), we're offering AU residents the opportunity to live rent-free in Japan for one year, working as Oakhouse Global Ambassadors.

As an Oakhouse Global Ambassador, you’ll collaborate with Oakhouse staff to develop creative promotional strategies tailored to your lifestyle and audience.

You will:

• Share content regularly on platforms where you’re strongest (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
   → Posting frequency and platform focus will be adjusted based on your strengths and audience size
• Create engaging content such as:
   - Travel vlogs
   - Share house reviews
   - Q&A or interviews with residents
   - Casual Stories and posts from daily life
• Attend and actively engage in Oakhouse events
• Co-host or help organize events as part of your promotional role
• Use hashtags like #オークハウス #OAKHOUSE #WorkingHoliday #ShareHouseJapan,
   and other global hashtags used in BYYL campaigns around the world
• Keep content positive, authentic, and friendly—not overly scripted

We’re seeking passionate AU residents who are eager to promote Oakhouse through social media and share the joy of living in Japan.
You don’t need to be a professional influencer—just someone who loves creating content, enjoys communicating with others, and is excited about connecting cultures through daily life stories.
If you love Japan and want to share that love with the world, this is your chance.

We welcome applicants who:

• Love Japan and are confident in promoting Oakhouse
• Are in good physical and mental health
• Are 18+ and eligible for a Working Holiday Visa or other valid work visa
• Can stay in Japan for one year
• Plan to move in by September 30, 2026 (flexible upon consultation)r
• Actively use Instagram, YouTube, or other SNS platforms
• Are willing to sign a contractor agreement
• Are excited to join and share Oakhouse events

Step 2: Applications will be reviewed by Oakhouse staff. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an online interview.

Step 3: Final winner(s) will be selected through a strict screening process.
Only 1–2 applicants will be chosen and contacted.

Step 4: Notify your planned entry date at least one month before traveling.

Step 5: Oakhouse will guide you to available properties based on your schedule.

Step 6: Sign a contractor agreement with Oakhouse before move-in.

Step 7: Travel and move in—your Best Year in Japan begins!

• This offer is valid for selected candidates only and is non-transferable.

• Unexcused absences or failure to meet deliverables may result in contract termination and return of benefits.
• Violation of rental contract, house rules, or activity guidelines may result in removal and standard rent charges may apply thereafter.
• If your visa or legal status becomes invalid, program participation will be revoked.
• Content posted on your SNS may be reused by Oakhouse on their official website and platforms.
• Oakhouse retains secondary usage rights to all ambassador-related content.
• Affiliate points may be revoked in the case of contract violations or early withdrawal.
• Participants are responsible for their own tax obligations in relation to activity fees, affiliate income, and any other payments.
