Nishi-Shinjuku-Gochome station is in Shinjuku ward in Tokyo, along the Toei Oedo line. It is also known as Shimizubashi station. It opened as an Oedo line station in 1997. One platform is for trains headed to Tochomae and Roppongi, while the other direction goes toward Nerima and Hikarigaoka.

Places to see
Most of the area around Nishi Shinjuku Gochome is office buildings, but there are also spots like Shinjuku Nisha Kumano Shrine and Shinjuku Central Park.

There are not that many supermarkets near the station, though there is one open 24 hours that makes late-night returns home convenient. There is also a drugstore nearby, and the park provides an oasis of nature in the city.
You can also walk to Shinjuku station, or just take a single train 4 minutes to get there. You can get to Shibuya or Ikebukuro in about 20 minutes, or change trains to get to Tokyo station in 30. There are many shops open late, so you should have no problem getting everything you need, or finding leisure.
