We are excited to host Architecture Fans Meetup vol.2 on Sunday, June 28, 2026!

This time, we'll visit a remarkable piece of architecture and then gather at a café to share our thoughts and impressions.

Our destination is the Hayashi Fumiko Memorial Museum, the former residence of the renowned Japanese writer Fumiko Hayashi.
The house beautifully combines the delicate elegance of the sukiya style with the openness and warmth of a traditional Japanese home.
The relationship between the garden and the building has also been carefully designed, creating a harmonious living environment.

Rather than visiting a famous landmark, this is a chance to experience a simple yet thoughtfully crafted example of Japanese architecture—one that reflects everyday life and the essence of Japan. After the tour, we'll relax at a café, chat about the architecture, exchange ideas, and enjoy some casual conversation. We'd love to have you join us!

Fee: Event participation fee 1,000 yen
(500 yen OFF if you apply from the app! Students get an extra 500 yen OFF)
*Each person must pay the 150 yen entrance fee and their own cafe expenses

Tea gathering at Cafe Den
Share impressions, discuss the architecture, and enjoy casual conversation over coffee and tea.
