Tanabata is just around the corner!

To celebrate, we will be holding a small Tanabata party at Gran Gakugei Daigaku.
Feel free to invite your friends and family and join us!

☆彡 What is Tanabata (the Star Festival)?
Tanabata is a traditional annual event in Japan, held on July 7th.
It is based on the legend of Orihime (the Weaver Princess) and Hikoboshi (the Cowherd), who are separated by the Milky Way and can only meet once a year.
During the festival, people write their wishes on colorful paper strips (tanzaku) and hang them on bamboo leaves. Families also decorate their homes and streets with Tanabata ornaments, following various customs associated with the celebration.
