Do you know the word “shingo” (新語)?
It means “a new word” — a word that suddenly becomes popular and many people start using in a single year.

For example:
・Words that spread through SNS
・Expressions used by young people
・Words that became a topic in the news
・If you can use new Japanese slang, your conversations will feel more fun and natural!

In this event, the theme is “real Japanese” that almost never appears in regular textbooks. You can learn and communicate while having fun.
“What does this mean?” “When can I use this word?”
Let’s learn and understand these questions together.

・エモい(emoi) - emotion / deeply emotional feeling or atmosphere
・それな(sorena) - I agree / exactly
・ワンチャン(wanchan) - one chance / maybe / there is a small chance
