We are holding a billiards tournament with special rules that even beginners can enjoy!
You can enjoy playing billiards, watching other matches, and talking with other participants.
You are also very welcome to just watch the games. Please feel free to join us even if you have never played billiards before!

Registration for the matches will start at 18:30 on the day of the event.
Up to 8 teams (up to 2 people per team) can play on a first-come, first-served basis. If you want to play, please come early.

[Rules] Eight-ball (Oakhouse version)

Winning Condition:
The goal for each team is to pocket all of their own balls (solids or stripes).
If the match does not end within the 10-minute time limit, the team that has pocketed more balls at that time wins.

Number of Balls: Start with 14 balls, excluding the number 8 ball
Teams: Divided into Solids and Stripes

*Solids: Balls numbered 1 to 7, which are entirely one color.
*Stripes: Balls numbered 9 to 15, which have a colored stripe on a white background.

Scoring Rules:
If the stripe team pockets a solid ball, the point goes to the solid team (and the same applies the other way around).
Pocketed balls will not be put back on the table.

Break: Decided by Rock-Paper-Scissors. No restrictions on the break.
Foul: Missing a shot, pocketing the white cue ball.
Switch: Players take turns after each shot.
Team Size: 1 or 2 people are both OK.

Playing Style:
No restrictions on sitting shots, use of support tools is allowed, double hitting is OK, hitting an opponent's ball first is not a foul, and the game continues even if a ball touches your hand.

Time Limit: 10 minutes per match. The team that pockets more balls within the time limit wins.
