Im going to the Satake Odori Summer Festival on July 18 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and I'd love for you to join me!

Its a small local summer festival with plenty to see and do. There will be food stalls, drinks, live music, Bon Odori dancing, and a local market.

There will also be a variety of workshops and handmade goods, including:
- Indigo dyeing experience
- Silk printing demonstration
- Original calligraphy by a local calligrapher
- Karikachua (wire art) jewelry
- Kintsugi (golden pottery repair) consultation
- Kimono remake items and handmade mini bags
- Grass weaving and tassel-making
- A traditional spinning-top (koma) game for both children and adults

If youd like to experience a neighborhood festival that most tourists never find, come along!
