Yokai Bon Odori in Tachikawa!

Every year supernatural beings gather for the dancing in Tachikawa.

It’s Japanese festival where people dress up as yokai or wear yukata and dance Bon Odori together. There will also be live music, traditional performances, a yokai contest, food stalls, yokai makeup, and even a yokai disco!

The festival runs from 11:00 to 21:00, and the general area is free. The main stage area is ticketed, though, so we can also just enjoy the festival atmosphere without buying a ticket.
