Railway Overview
The line has 7 stations over 6.5 km, and most of the trains have direct access to the Shinagawa and Yokohama areas. As the name suggests, the line is often used for people traveling for business or leisure via the Haneda Airport. On the fastest service, the train goes to Shinagawa station from the airport nonstop in just 11 minutes. Plus with direct through service on the Toei Asakusa line, and other possible transfers, it is important and convenient for people looking to get to the airport.
Places to see
The most famous spot along the Keikyu Airport Line is of course Haneda Airport. Recently the airport has become a place to come even if you aren't taking a flight, with many things to do, buy, or eat. You can even watch planes take off and land. Because it is close to the city center, you can see Tokyo Tower and SkyTree from here, and on a clear day even see Mt. Fuji. The views are different depending on the terminal. Various wings of the international terminal are based on themes and have goods and restaurants to match. There is even a museum, and a shrine. There is plenty for people of any age to enjoy.
Lifestyle
The Airport line is a supporting line in the Keikyu system, so rent prices are not so high. Particular residential areas are around Keikyu Kamata, Kojiya, Otorii, and Anamoriinari, with the other 3 being within Haneda Airport. Various shopping streets can be found around the residential stations, so you will easily be able to do your daily shopping. It can be a convenient place to live if you need easy access to the airport as well.
