Tama city is often called “Tama New Town”, as it is a fast-growing bedroom town with a population of 150,000 people, with many families. It has many parks and walking paths, and has good access to schools and stations without getting too close to busy car roads, so children can walk around safely. It is served by the Keio and Odawara lines, so you can get to Shinjuku in 30 minutes.
