Would you like to carry a portable shrine at a festival in Sumida Ward, Tokyo?

A mikoshi is a “vehicle for the gods” carried by people during festivals. Thanks to the cooperation of the local community, Oakhouse residents now have the opportunity to experience carrying a mikoshi!

We are looking for people who would like to carry the mikoshi!

Oakhouse will be in charge of the mikoshi in Sumida Ward, Mukojima 3-chome.
Let’s carry the mikoshi and experience Japanese culture together!

After the festival, we will have an after-party.
Even if you don’t carry the mikoshi, you are welcome to join the after-party!
