July 5 — we’re waiting for you at the annual Kupala Festival — the first Ukrainian matsuri in Japan!

Kupala is a celebration that recreates authentic Ukrainian summer traditions in a Japanese park — an opportunity to experience Ukrainian culture and a gathering that brings together the Ukrainian community from across the Kanto region and other parts of Japan. The festival will feature workshops, Ukrainian food, and traditional games.

Workshops: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Main Program: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

In addition to performances, Kupala traditions, and workshops, there will also be a fair at the festival.
