Join us for a mochi-pounding event at the Asakusa Street 3rd Floor Lounge!

～What is Mochi-Pounding?～
Mochi-pounding is a traditional Japanese event where steamed glutinous rice is pounded with a pestle and mortar to make mochi, wishing for health and happiness in the new year. It's an essential food for New Year's celebrations and a fun event where families and community members gather to strengthen bonds.

While you might buy mochi, opportunities to experience making it yourself are rare.
Please take this chance to try it!＊

After pounding the mochi, we plan to enjoy it topped with kinako (soybean flour), soy sauce, mitarashi sauce, etc.,
while mingling with other residents.
