This is a practical exchange event where you can learn about disaster prevention alongside students from Oda High School! This time, we will hold an illustration quiz to test: "Can disaster evacuation signs be understood by people who don't read Japanese, using only illustrations?" There might even be signs that native Japanese speakers find surprisingly unfamiliar! Let's think together about why certain signs are hard to understand and explore better ways to share information.

On the day of the event, officers from the fire department will join us for full-scale firefighting training. You'll get to check evacuation routes, practice using water fire extinguishers, and try 119 emergency call training in English (via 3-way call).

※If the fire department is unable to attend, self-directed training will be conducted instead.

13:30~ Firefighting Training with the Fire Department
　Evacuation Route Check: Review the evacuation map to locate emergency exits, guide lights, and fire hydrants.
　Fire Extinguisher Training: Learn how to use water fire extinguishers directly from firefighters.
　Emergency Call Training: Foreign residents will practice making an actual 119 call in English. Test how smoothly an emergency call goes using a 3-way call with official government interpreters.
