In Japan, autumn is often called the “season of sports”, as it is a popular time of year to enjoy sports and outdoor activities.
One of the most unique autumn events in Japan is the school sports festival, known as Taiikusai. It is a special school event where students compete in various sports and team activities while cheering each other on.

Thanks to the cooperation of Amagasaki Oda High School, which has kindly supported OAKHOUSE events many times, you have a special opportunity to visit and experience a real Japanese high school sports festival!

You can watch Japanese high school students compete, cheer them on, and even join some of the activities yourself.
If you would like to participate, you can join exciting events such as Jump Rope (Double Dutch-style group jumping) and a 50-meter relay race!
We are also planning a casual lunch/meet-up at a nearby restaurant from around 12:00, so you can meet and socialize with other OAKHOUSE residents who joined the sports festival.

Whether you want to experience what a Japanese school sports festival is like, have fun with others, or actually take part in the competitions, everyone is welcome — including those who simply want to watch and cheer!

You may leave from 11:30 AM if necessary. If you need to leave before the event officially ends, please let a staff member know. For safety reasons, a staff member will accompany you to the school gate.
The Lunch Gathering will be held at a nearby restaurant. Food and drinks will be at your own expense.
