Railway Overview

The official name of the line is Keisei Narita Airport line, and it runs for 51.4 km over 8 stations. The planning started in 1980, but it only began operating in 2010. As the name states, it was built to create better access to Narita Airport, massively shortening the time taken to get from Tokyo to Narita Airport, on par with the Sky Liner at 160km per hour. From Keisei Takasago station it goes through to the Keisei main line and Oshiage line, and there is also direct access to the Asakusa line and Keikyu line for good access to the city. On the Access service, it connects Haneda Airport and Narita airport, making it an important line for traveling businessmen and sightseers.

Places to see

The most important point on the Keisei Narita Sky Access line is Narita Airport. From here you can fly internationally on business or for travel. But the airport itself is also a popular date spot, or for families to walk around and enjoy events pertaining to Japanese culture, or art galleries. There are brand shops, shops selling goods with anime characters, duty-free shops, and plenty to eat and drink.
Near Imba Nihon-idai station is Matsumushidera temple, which has a long history going back to the Nara period. It has many important cultural artifacts, and precious wooden statues, among other officially-recognized tangible cultural artifacts of Chiba prefecture. The temple has many splendid cherry trees which are beautiful when they bloom.

Lifestyle

The Keisei Narita Sky Access line has only 8 stations, and 2 of the stations are in Narita Airport itself, so there are really only 6 stations that support any regular lifestyle. You can change to various lines at every station so it is very convenient. It is easy to commute into Tokyo for work or school, so many of these areas serve as bedroom communities, and the station areas have many supermarkets, drugstores, hardware stores, and more. There are also many schools, as well as an international school, so rentals out here are popular.
With easy access to Narita Airport, you don't just have good access to Tokyo, but to the rest of the world too.
