Places to see

The Oshiage station area has seen a massive amount of recent redevelopment, and Tokyo Sky Tree and Solamachi are not to be missed. Sky Tree is a 634-meter tall building with an incredible view from the various decks. Solamachi is made up of floors B3 to 31, and the part of the building that makes up the "roots" of Sky Treet are filled with all sorts of stores and gift shops, many with Disney or Pokemon characters. There is also a museum, and a planetarium, as well as a plethora of places to eat good food, from high-end restaurants to food courts.

Thanks to Tokyo Sky Tree, Oshiage station has become a very convenient place, thanks to its placement on several train lines. You can also use nearby buses. You will never be bored of shopping thanks to Tokyo Solamachi. The station now also has considerable name value. There are many supermarkets, and you can still find nice Japanese neighborhoods away from Sky Tree. Plus you can find drug stores, 100 yen stores, fashion shops, and more. It's a popular area for people of all ages.
