Station overview
Tsurukawa station is in Machida city in Tokyo, and is on the Odakyu Odawara line. It is in the east of Machida city. It opened in 1927, and has not seen too much expansion since. The station is served by local, semi-express, and commuter express services, and sees 69,000 riders per day. Nearby are universities and other schools so there are many students that commute here. There are no escalators, but there are elevators.
Places to see
As there are many universities near Tsurukawa, it can feel like a student town. One place of note is TBS's Midoriyama Studio City, a spacious nature area where the TV station films many things.
