I moved to Oakhouse Ueno just last month and I really like living here. It is such a convenient location! I can walk to work in 10min. or to one of the major train stations (Ueno Stn.) in Tokyo. Ueno has so many shops, restaurants and even a foreign food store, which is GREAT!! Everyday as I walk to work, I can see the Japanese red lanterns from a distance in Ueno Park in preparation for the Hanami (Japanese Cherry Blossom) season. It should be amazing to be able to get to a park near our house to see so many cherry blossom trees while sitting under one, drinking and singing the night away! Every year my friends and I have to travel far and go early to a park so we can find a place to sit for Hanami but this year, since I live near Ueno Park, we will go there easily and have a great place to sit. Also Oakhouse staff are having a party there too so we should all celebrate this beautiful season together!
