The Cool Breeze

The weather in Tokyo has cooled off a bit making it easier for us to sleep better again. Although we are having a rainy seson again for the fourth or fifth time this year, this time we really can’t complaint since it has brought down the temperature from 40s to now 20s. It’s also nice waking up fresh without the air conditioner and relaxing with the cool breeze.

A Smile

I was walking to work today at 7:30am wondering how could I get to my school possibly without melting and dry withing 10minutes. I did make it to my school half dry but at least on time for my lessons and went through a very long day at work walking out completely drained. This time wondering how I can survive the heavy rain. As I was trying to hold my umbrella on one hand, my bag in the other while trying to answer a long distance phone call on my cell a japanese man passed by without an umbrella absolutely soaked yet he managed to have a lovely bright smile on his face. It was the highlight of my long day and realized what a huge difference a nice smile makes in our lives:)

Rainy Season Again??

It seems like Japan is getting the most rain this year and it is none stop. Does anyone know what is causing all this rainfall in Japan this year?? I feel like I live in UK with constant rains every month with maybe the only month that hasn’t rained this year being July. Hope all is safe and well with the rain and everyone.

Lanterns

Ueno Park is surrounded by beautiful lanterns in the evenings now. There’s also a Jazz Festival and an antique auction so if you live near by or just in the area near Ueno Park you should definitely stop by. First with the ‘Ajisai’ flowers in July and now with it’s lanterns, lotus and festivals, Ueno Park is getting more exciting and full of suprises every month!
