Area outline

Toshima ward in Tokyo has a population of 298,000 people. It is one of the most densely populated parts of Tokyo. It is the origin of the Yoshino cherry tree. As a result, the ward crest has a sakura motif. There are many universities, high schools, and industries here, so many come into Toshima to work and study.
