Tell me if I can extend or renew the contract.

The contract that Oakhouse is using is called Fixed-Term Building Lease Contract and the contract period is 6 months, which means you will need to do a new contract procedure by giving us a quick phone call for identification purposes.

*We do not offer extensions or renewals of the current contract.

If you are able to sign a contract after the end date of your contract as Oakhouse, we will contact you by e-mail in advance to confirm your intention to sign a new contract.

If you wish to sign a new contract, you can continue to live in Oakhouse by following the instructions.

【Steps to complete the new contract】

STEP 1:

Access the "URL to start the new contract procedure above," fill in the information for your school/place of work and emergency contact, and upload a picture of your ID (passport, residency card etc.). If you have been benefitting from the student discount so far, please also attach a picture of your student ID.

After filling everything in, a message containing the instructions for STEP 2 will be sent to you automatically on your Oak Fellows MyPage, so please continue the procedure from there.

STEP 2:

Access the URL in the message and read through the "Explanation of the Fixed-Term Lease Agreement."

After reading through the explanation, please give us a call or contact us via Zoom. The phone numbers and Zoom URL to contact us is provided on the same page as the explanation, we are available for calls between 10:00 and 18:00.

During the call, one of our staff will quickly have to go through the "Explanation of the Fixed-Term Lease Agreement" again, and afterwards will guide you through the rest of the procedure.

To proceed to the next step, we will need the "identification number" found at the bottom of the page, so please make sure to have the page open during the call.

STEP 3:

You will receive an email from GMOsign with the URL to sign the contract online.

Access the URL, read through the contract, sign it, and send everything in.

※The email from GMOsign will not be sent through the Oakhouse messaging system but will reach you as a normal email

Once the procedure is finished, the new contract as well will be sent to you as a PDF per email.
