With great access to the city along the Tokyu Den-en-toshi line, Social Residence Aobadai is our highest-quality Social Residence. It's a light-blue building in a quiet neighborhood just a 15 minutes walk from Aobadai station. We'd like to share with you the great shared facilities of the house, as well as what's great about the surrounding area.

Limitless possibilities
We're especially proud of the balcony with a fantastic view! There are 2 big balconies. Why not enjoy a nice tea time on the cafe-style balcony looking over the town?
The 3rd floor balcony has artificial grass and you can enjoy barbecuing there. It's fun to be out there thinking about all the possibilities!

Get all your training done at home
At Social Residence Aobadai, we have a gym with a running machine, cycle machine, and more. You don't have to pay any monthly gym fees, or even leave the house! Work up a sweat in the comfort of your own home, and wash it all away in the large Japanese-style bath, then take a well-deserved rest in the lounge.
It's exciting just thinking about it!

Enjoy shopping trips, or movies!
There are other great shared facilities too. Enjoy a movie on the big screen in the theater with your housemates, or take the rental bicycle to go get some groceries. We hope you take advantage of everything Social Residence Aobadai has to offer!

Relax at the end of the day
One of the most satisfying things to do at the end of a long day is soak in a large Japanese bath. At Social Residence Aobadai, we have shower booths and of course the large Japanese bath! After working out in the gym, after work, or if you're just plain tired, a good soak is a great way to ensure drifting right off into sleep!

Sunny East- or West-facing rooms
The just-over-13-square-meter rooms have a bed, refrigerator, air conditioner, desk and chair set, and large closet space, so you can start living the moment you move in. All rooms have a balcony so you can easily dry your clothes or air out your bedding. Also, rare for a share house: all rooms have a wash basin! Great for getting ready in the morning. The kitchen, lounge, and showers are on the 2nd floor. There are 3 floors so it's easy to get to these spaces from anywhere in the building. The walls are thick too so noise does not reverberate as much.

Below are questions we typically receive from our customers.

Q: Is there a parking area for bikes or cars? How much does it cost?
You can park bicycles for free. Even if you don't have a bicycle, there are rental cycles available, so please use them if you would like. Cars can be parked for a monthly fee.

Q: Is there bicycle parking at the station?
Yes. It is 100 yen per time, but the price changes depending on if the area has a roof covering or not. Municipal parking is free for the first 2 hours, and then 100 yen until 8PM, or 300 yen for motor bikes.

Q: What can you tell me about the area?
In the Aobadai station building, as well as the streets surrounding the station, there is a supermarket, 100-yen shop, restaurants, and many other convenient shops. The area around the house itself is a quiet residential area, and there is a park with a pond very close by.

Q: What kind of people live here?
The Den-en-toshi line is a convenient way to get into the city center, so there are lots of people who use it to get to work. There are also many students who go to Tokyo Institute of Technology or other academies, so it's probably 70/30 business people to students. All rooms have wifi so you can work from home too. The house is about 30 to 40% foreigners, so it has a very international feel.
