Nishidai station is in Itabashi ward in Tokyo, along the Toei Mita line. It opened in 1968, and has seen renovation in recent years, including barrier-free installations like elevators and estalators. Average daily ridership is 26,000 people, and is increasing.
The Daito Bunka University is nearby as well. The station is small, but trains going toward Sugamo, and Shirokane Takanawa go through to the Tokyu Meguro line at Meguro station, making it quite convenient.

Places to see

There are several things to see around Nishidai, in particular the Uemura museum and the Itabashi Botanical Gardens. The Uemura museum is dedicated to Adventurer Naoki Uemura, and has library of 5,000 books about nature and adventuring. They also change the exhibit depending on the season.
