Can a friend visit or stay over?
There are no particular limits on having a visitor during the day.
For overnight stays in a room with 1 person and a maximum occupancy of 2, you can have an overnight guest up to 3 nights per month for no extra charge.
From the 4th overnight stay in a month, there is an extra flat fee of ¥20,000 per month.
