Area outline

Sumida ward is 3km to the northeast of the center of Tokyo, surrounded by the Arakawa and Sumida rivers.
It is 14 sq.km and has 257,000 people, which makes it somewhat crowded. Recently, Tokyo Sky Tree has opened in the ward, which has contributed to the ward's growth.
