Oak Explorers: What kind of place is Takanodai?

Idly exploring Takanodai in Kodaira city

A warm town with a nostalgic feeling: Takanodai. 2 stations away from Kokubunji on the Seibu Kokubunji line. Nearby are Musashino Art University, Tsuda College, Hitotsubashi University, and other schools, making for a college town feel. It also has a river running nearby, and beautiful nature. With many unique shops, the town also has meeting places for artists and students. Two of our managers explore the charms of this new type of share house, Garden Terrace Takanodai.

The entrance to Shou's, this bakery near this station, is surrounded by crawling grape vines. Their bread uses no margarine, and they show the times when fresh-baked bread will come out of the oven!
