Area information of Suginami

Area overview

Suginami is home to 550,000 people and has great access to the rest of the city. It has more single-family homes than other wards, as well as many spots to enjoy nature. Suginami has famous areas like Koenji, Asagaya, and Ogikubo, and is home to events like Koenji Awaodori or Asagaya's Jazz Street. Both these areas are famous for music. Ogikubo particularly has a classical feel.


Things to see

From Suginami you can take the JR Chuo line or Keio Inokashira line to get into the heart of the city, while being able to live in an area with lots of nature. It has been popular since before World War II. If Kamakura was the best place in the west, the best place in the east was Ogikubo, so they said. Area information of SasazukaStation

Sasazuka station is in Shibuya ward in Tokyo, along the Keio main and new lines. It is the final stop on the Keio New Line, and the second station on the Keio main line after Shinjuku. It opened in 1913, and is the oldest station on all Keio lines. It underwent renovation in 1978. Average daily ridership is 81,000 and rising rapidly. This station is larger even than express stops Keio Hachioji and Seiseki-Sakuragaoka. Though it is convenient to have access to two lines, there is only 1 exit.
