Area overview

Suginami is home to 550,000 people and has great access to the rest of the city. It has more single-family homes than other wards, as well as many spots to enjoy nature. Suginami has famous areas like Koenji, Asagaya, and Ogikubo, and is home to events like Koenji Awaodori or Asagaya's Jazz Street. Both these areas are famous for music. Eifukucho station is in Tokyo's Suginami ward, on the Keio Inokashira line. It was opened in 1933, and expanded in 1971. From the station you can also catch many bus services, such as Keio, Kanto, and Odakyu. It is very close to the center of the city.
