Area outline

Setagaya is a special ward in the southwest of Tokyo that has a population of 900,000 people. It is a popular area with many high-end residential areas, and the population is only increasing.

An interesting thing about this station is that the platform is curved. There are 10 stations on the line, and average daily ridership is 110000. It's crowded at peak times, but you can get to either Shimo-Takaido or Sangenjaya in around 10 minutes. There are also many buses, and the Tokyu and Odakyu bus system is very convenient. You can get to Soshigaya Okura, Seijo Gakuen mae, Chofu, Den-en-chofu, Shibuya, and Todoroki areas easily by bus.
