Hello everyone in Oakhouseland,
Here is my fifth installment on my life at an Oakhouse Sharestyle. Living in the Nakano-ku area was quite relaxing. There was a park across the street where kids played, cherry blossom trees and yearly festivals. I was close to the Oedo, Marunouchi, Keio and Yamanote Lines for trains and subways. We had regular bus lines with direct routes to Shinjuku, Nakano and Shibuya stations. It was always nice to hear the chirping birds, and watch the trees in the park come into bloom. There were many shops and stores in the area. Pastry, vegetable, noodle, curry shops as well as many family restaurants. On a clear night from the roof of Sharestyle Shinjuku-nishi, you could get a panoramic view of Tokyo, with city lights filling the evening sky. Shinjuku was always especially bright. Radiant and glowingly alive. I spent many nights moongazing and mornings sungazing on that roof, lying spread out on the deck and watching the planes and birds fly peacefully overhead. Those were wonderful quiet, thought-filled moments. Meditative moments on that roof. I miss those days.

オークハウスに入社した、元シェアメイトの菅さんが撮影しにも来てくれたし。
特にうちのソーシャルレジデンスで、ライブ開催はお初かなと。

ライブのトップバッターは、うちの盛り上げ役、アントンとルーカス♪

アントンのソロもすさまじくよかった。
日本語で安全地帯「ワインレッドの心に」・英語・スペイン語で熱唱♪
それだけでも、スゴイんすけど

お次はゲストアーティストさんが来てくださった。
イベントが終わってから、僕のｆｂへの書き込みで気づいたけど、この右の子、友達やん。
３度くらいお逢いしてる方。
かわいすぎて、逆にわからないという・・・

トリは、シェアメイトでアーティストのゴーシさん。
いつもは、バンド仲間のお連れさんもいるけど、今日はおひとりで演奏。

みんなうまかったし、楽しかった。
食事はスウェーデン人の日本料理シェフと、マネージャーがわさわさといろいろ作ってくださった。
どれもおいしーーー♪

僕らの住んでいる花小金井という街。
住む前は、花とつくけど、どうしてなのか意味がわからなかった。

1年して、悟る。
名が先か、実が先かは知らないけど、花がいっぱい。

あじさい、紅葉、いちょう、その他の小さな花に、ひまわりなど。
ありとあらゆる花が遊歩道に植えられていて、駅への往復を楽しませてくれる。
実際、13分かかると言われてるけど、13分と感じたことはない。
駅までの道が楽しいから。

そして、そのオハコが日本の花の代表である「桜」だ。

おとといは、駅前のミスドで飲み放題のロイヤルミルクティーを飲みながら、仕事の整理をしていた。
けど、窓の外で舞う桜吹雪に何度も見とれてぼーーっとしてしまった。
「う　つ　く　し　ー」のただ一言。

僕らのソーシャルレジデンスからだと、歩いて2分で着く桜並木。
夜桜も美しい。
僕のデジカメだと、こんな写真が限界。
けど、この100倍はうつくしいと思ってください。

Hello everyone in Oakhouseland,
Here is my fifth installment on my life at an Oakhouse Sharestyle and I really have to say I had a wonderful time. When I first pondered the idea of share style living arrangements, the usual thoughts and concerns crossed my mind; would I have privacy, noise pollution at all hours of the day and night, ability to use the washer/dryer, shower and kitchen in a timely fashion as well as self-governance in behavior by other residents. Needless to say, I never encountered anything that was viewed as problematic or soured my attitude towards shared style living. In fact, everything turned out way better than I could have imagined. I got a chance to meet some really wonderful and way cool people, who shared their languages, culture, advice and cooking recipes with me. I learned so much from my sharestyle mates. It was great and I miss them all. And one of the great points of Oakhouse management, is that aside from providing the basic necessities and rules/guidelines for living in the building, they pretty much let the occupants govern themselves and we all grew closer as a family. So many fantastic memories. Some many great events. Trust me, there was never a dull moment and all the residents rallied behind each other in times of need and times of fun and travel. I also mentioned that Oakhouse provides The Oak Hotel service. Please inquire through their website or a representative. I spent several nights there and it was wonderful. I highly recommend it. As I live in the Shinjuku-nishi location, I was close to the Nakano Ward office, several large supermarkets and home center, many different convenience stores, dental offices, hospital, fire department, Indian curry, ramen, noodle and pastry shops. Our Nakano-ku area was teeming with life, families, animals, joggers, exercising in a nearby park, schools and cherry blossom trees. I always loved the many festivals held in our neighborhood throughout the seasons. Please contact the friendly staff at Oakhouse, make a reservation and enjoy Tokyo!

深夜の腹筋自慢動画ですw

 

＠ソーシャルレジデンスたまプラーザのダンススタジオ。

最近わがやのメンズが『リー会』してます。

それは、ブルースリーの腹筋を育成する会！

そして、毎朝ひとり筋トレ励むなぞのわたしもw

ときに、現場に顔だしちゃったりするとそのままのかっこでやります。

ワンピースだったりもするけど中に見せパンはいてるので

ベタなヤツ言いながら。

『安心してください、はいてますよ！』

わたしがやってる筋トレはマドンナのトレイナーさんが考案してるヤツで

小さい筋肉作って女性らしい体作るヤツです。

かれこれ4年半、毎朝です。取材中でもね(*`･ω･´)ｷﾘｯ

トレイナーのトレイシーさんがキレイすぎて気分あがるあがる～！♡

リー会のは、むきむきのおっさんがDVDに写ってるのでテンションはさがりますw

ともあれ、今夜もリー会あるらしいけど・・・

おっさんにならないようにという大義名分つけて逃亡しようかな・・・

あの浅草にホステルが出現。
お披露目パーティーが一斉メールにて来たので、
遊びに行ってみた♪

世界中のドミトリーに泊まってきたけど、きっちり間に壁が入っている。
これはうれしーサービス。

家族ルームみたいな集団で泊まれるタイプもあったけど、
天井が高くて、開放感ばっつぐん♪

ここで、お泊りパーティーとかしてみたい。
いや♪楽しそうだから、しちゃおう♪

肝心のパーティー、楽しかったし、混んでいたけど、
撮った写真がブレブレばかりで使えない♪ｗｗｗ
参加無料なのに、お寿司とドリンクな大盤振る舞い。
ごちです♪

スタッフが即興でＡＫＢのダンスとか、してくれてた。
ノリのすげぇーいいドミトリーって、ステイも楽しいからプラスポイント。

そして、屋上でまったりできる。
スカイツリーも自分のモノ・・・のごとく

ここでパーティーも楽しそすぎ♪

4軒目のオーク社のホステル。
他も遊びにいったところ多いけど、ここもステキ。

Oak hostel is a dormitry style short term accommodation. There are 3 Oak hostels in Tokyo, and they’re starting a new one in Asakusa in April, 2016. Oak hostel Fuji is the name of this new one. This place might come in handy if you need a cheap short-term stay in Tokyo.

Oakhouse gave me a chance to stay in March 25th, during its two-days-long open trial stay for Oakhouse residents.

There’s a common space and kitchen on the first floor. My room was on the 3rd floor. The sleeping cabin is small but the walls are thick and concrete.

Stay for a night is around 3000 yen. I’d say it’s good for the price. 3000 yen is a minimum pricing for a hostel. You cannot find any other hostel cheaper than this, unless it’s a capsule hotel or manga cafe.

If you live in a Oakhouse, it’s OK to let your friend stay in your room for two nights a month. Free of extra charge.

Moving in with a roommate is pretty common too. There are currently two couples who are sharing a room in our house, Oakhouse Kichijoji 2. You just need to pay 10,000 yen on top of the monthly rent per person.
