As I wait to begin my new job in July, I’ve had to take on one-day side jobs for a little extra pocket money. One day my manga school, TCA, gave me a call and told me some students from Australia were coming to take part in a special week long course and two days would be classes hosted by TCA. Since, I’m American, an English speaker, they asked that I join the class as an assistant teacher AND translator.
Surprisingly it was easier than I thought and a lot of fun. I made some new friends, tested my Japanese knowledge and got to review some manga art basics too. I found myself wanting to teach more actually. I wonder if I should just be a teacher…lol
